Why AANPCP certification?
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program National Certification Examinations are entry-level, competency-based examinations for nurse practitioners reflective of nurse practitioner knowledge and expertise for each of three specialties; adult, gerontologic, and family nurse practitioner.
Nurse practitioners certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program may become recertified every five years by sitting for the appropriate examination or by meeting the clinical practice and continuing education requirements established for recertification.
AANPCP currently charges a nominal fee of $30 for each request for verification of national certification.
An Emergency Verification is available for a fee of $45. There is NO charge for verifications provided to State Boards of Nursing.
